Interior decorator Nate Berkus, a design consultant for The Oprah Winfrey Show, purchases iron cabinets and dressers from Pottery Barn Teen for kids' and adults' rooms. "I like them because they have a clean, utilitarian, but stylish feel," he says. Put this console in a home office and use it to house a printer, scanner and miscellaneous files; stash paper, ink cartridges and CDs in the drawers. "You could place it in a room with soft upholstery, underneath a framed black-and-white photo with a 1960s lamp on top," says Berkus, who prefers matching olive-green or orange drawers.
