As the first snowflakes of the season fall outside my window, I’m reminded that holiday shopping season is in full swing! Instead of trudging from store to store, I decided to cozy up with a cup of coffee and my laptop to get my shopping done. Luckily, half the people on my list asked for my sheets or my camp blanket! That makes hsn.com one-stop-shopping for me, for sure. And that means more time to spend with family and friends—which is really the best gift I can think of. Live well. – Nate
Above: A sneak peek at
one of my designs debuting
this January on HSN!
This holiday season seems like it started EARLY! I was recently in Tampa at an event hosted by our client Brian Glazer at his home to benefit The Glazer Children’s Museum. Lauren, Alison, and I were on hand to answer questions about the inspiration and the design of the home, and we had a great time.

Then, there was Thanksgiving. It is a big, big deal in my family, and I love the traditional food...stuffing, turkey, sweet potatoes—should be interesting since I am trying not to eat carbs after 6pm per instruction from Rich Baretta, top NYC trainer, and his dog Tucker.

My new line at HSN has also kept me on the road lately, with a very successful launch in October, and a three-day appearance in November. We continue to design more and more for the line, and I will be back on HSN in January with more. Check out hsn.com if you want to see what me and the creative team here have been up to...great stuff, amazing quality, and super affordable...really appropriate right now.
I’ve also been thinking about personal gift ideas,
and feel like making donations either to PAWS or
The Nettelhorst School. I toured the school and got the story....it's amazing what a group of mothers was able to accomplish in nine months at a Chicago Public School....left in tears and we as a company decided to build the school a new kitchen! We will start right after the holidays, and check back here for the transformation and an update on our activities with the kids.

Until then, my very best wishes to you and yours,
and happy holidays!
