  • Project Director +

    Nate Berkus Associates Chicago is looking for a Project Director, who would report directly to the Principal and Design Director.

    What You Will Do

    – Communicate and coordinate with management, clients, consultants and contractors related to all business operations

    – Interact with clients, contractors and staff to ensure all goals and deadlines are met

    – Manage, guide, and mentor the design team in a positive, constructive, and educational manner

    – Serve as a liaison between the design team and management

    – Oversee the day to day production on projects to meet deadlines and manage workload

    – Travel for projects to oversee progress and installation is a requirement

    – Manage construction documents and schedules

    Your Qualifications

    – 7 to 10 years professional experience as a Project Manager at a high-end Interior Design Firm

    – Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related project management field

    – Great problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and understanding our firm’s aesthetic and standards

    – Organization, efficiency and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients

    – Ability to manage a design team, communicate effectively, and work well under pressure

    – Advanced proficiency in CAD, MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Design Intern (Fall) +

    Nate Berkus Associates is looking for an intern for the semester beginning in August or September 2019 in our Chicago office. This is 2-3 days per week, non-paid internship.

    Responsibilities include maintenance of the sample library, assisting Designers and Design Assistants with pricing, quotes, and selection of materials which may require trips to the Merchandise Mart. Other duties may include Cad, drafting, and entry of specifications into our design tracking program, assisting with preparation of presentations as well as filing and other administrative duties.

  • Executive Intern (Fall) +

    Nate Berkus Associates is looking for an executive intern to assist the firm’s Design Director in Chicago two (2) days a week for the semester beginning in August 2019.

     

    Responsibilities will include tasks related to design, travel and event planning, public relations, schedule management and other administrative duties. This position will provide insight into the interior design industry and the daily responsibilities associated with the position.

    Students studying these fields: Interior Design, Public Relations, and Communications are encouraged to apply.

    Nate Berkus Studio is looking for an intern for the semester beginning in May 2019 in our Chicago office. This position is two (2) days a week and is a non-paid internship.

     

    Be a part of the development and design process of Nate Berkus branded product for the home. Assist team with preparation of presentations, filing, and other administrative duties.

     

    Students studying these fields: Visual Communications/Graphic Design, Product Design and Marketing are encouraged to apply.
