As always, the show has plenty of design lessons at play. Here are the two that jumped out, and we know will be helpful in homes at various stages of renovations or redecorating.
Get creative. The stunning pendant light above the dining table? Yep, that’s a basket. Repurposed as a one-of-a-kind lighting statement. Nate and Jeremiah also used bamboo fencing to create a worldly and dramatic ceiling treatment.
The other big takeaway from this episode was respecting the power of light paint colors – clearly Nate and Jeremiah were taken by Benjamin Moore’s Cloud Cover. That paint was part of what helped this small home feel spacious and airy.
