LA-area readers: have we got somewhere for you to be! Don’t miss your chance to explore the artful window displays at the annual LEGENDS event, put on by the La Cienega Design Quarter (aka, Los Angeles’s home base for interior designers!).
Over 65 of the shops and showrooms have turned their windows into opportunities for designers to go wild with creativity and beauty, so be prepared for a window shopping experience unlike any other. Since this is Nate’s first year as a Los Angeles resident, he’s so delighted to be part of the action, taking on the window of Lee Stanton Antiques with a stunning and inspired scene we can’t tear ourselves away from. The theme this year is “One of a Kind,” so be prepared for unique and show-stopping moments.
Read on for his sources, and exactly where and when to catch a glimpse in real life…
The wallcovering is Fromental’s “Reeds” from Harbinger, the tile is La Terre “K-1020” from Exquisite Surfaces, the wicker animal heads are from Javier Sanchez Medina, the orb lamp is from artist Julia Condon, and the furnishings are from none other than Lee Stanton Antiques, as well as Stanton’s STASH warehouse. And yes, that’s Lee Stanton in the photo with Nate.
You can visit the window (and the shop!) at 769 N. La Cienega Blvd in Los Angeles. The window display will be up through May 3-5. And don’t forget to visit lcdqla.com for a list of participating shops and showrooms!
