New York is such an iconic city, whether you’re sitting in Bemelmans Bar in the Carlyle Hotel or at the Waverly Inn down on the streets of Greenwich Village. I’m constantly inspired by these gems around the city. These days I also can’t get enough of Cafe Sabarsky at Neue Galerie and The Smile on Bond Street. But the place that takes the cake – for me, at least – is the New York Public Library. An iconic institution that I’m proud to call my wedding venue.
As for the non-NYC things that have my attention: Hanya Yanagihara’s chilling and brilliant novel A Little Life and for some lighter, more coffee table-friendly reading, the new and exquisite Cartier Panthere tome.
