• Nate Berkus in the 1stdibs Gallery

In February, 1stdibs, the digital antiques marketplace and every designer’s first stop to browse for “the most beautiful things on earth,” opened its massive new gallery on the west side of Manhattan. Nate Berkus Associates is proud to be one of its inaugural exhibitors in booth 506, having operated as a 1stdibs dealer since 2014.

While the online platform might have boundless options to browse, the brick-and-mortar location is a place to touch and feel and interact with pieces that have stories untold by images alone, such as the Mathieu Mategot tapestry and 1940s French hand sconces on display here. As Nate says, “There is that moment when you want that tactile connection.”

Visit the Gallery at 269 11th Avenue at 28th Street in New York City, and read more on Instrospective magazine.
